Header Settings (Travel Monster Pro)

Configure the additional header options Travel Monster Pro adds on top of the base Travel Monster theme: search scope, contact labels, layouts, and images.

Travel Monster Pro adds more choices to the Header Settings from the free Travel Monster theme. You can control what the header search finds. You can also change contact labels and add images to selected header layouts.

Before you start, make sure Travel Monster Pro is active and has a valid license. You will also need access to your WordPress dashboard.

Open the Header Settings

These settings are in the Customizer. The Customizer is the WordPress area where you preview and change your website design. You can open it from the left sidebar of your WordPress dashboard.

Open the Customizer

From the left sidebar of your WordPress dashboard, select Appearance. Then select Customize.

Open the header options

In the Customizer, select Header Settings. You will see the Travel Monster Pro options for your website header.

Preview and save your changes

Choose your settings and check the preview of your website. When the header looks right, select Publish at the top of the Customizer.

Your header changes are now saved. You can adjust any option again from the same area.

Limit header search results to trips

Use this setting when you want visitors to find tour packages without seeing other website content in the results.

In Header Settings, find Should the header search only return trips? (Only Search Trips).

SettingWhat it does
Should the header search only return trips? (Only Search Trips)Limits the header search form results to trips only. Posts, pages, and other content types do not appear in the results.

For example, turn this option on if you want a traveler searching for “Himalayan trek” to see your trek packages instead of blog posts about hiking.

Use this option when your header search should focus on bookings and tour packages. Leave it off if you want visitors to search your full website.

Add labels for your contact details

Clear labels help travelers know which phone number or email address to use. You can add the words that appear beside each contact detail in your header.

Find these options under Header Settings:

SettingWhat it does
What label should appear before the phone number? (Phone Label)Sets the text label displayed next to the phone number in the header. For example, you could use “Call us”.
What label should appear before the email address? (Email Label)Sets the text label displayed next to the email address in the header. For example, you could use “Email us”.

Choose labels that match the way you speak to customers. Your phone label could say “Bookings” if that number is used mainly for tour reservations.

Choose a header layout

Choose the header layout that best fits your tour website. Each layout places your logo, navigation, contact details, and other header content in a different arrangement.

Select a layout in Header Settings and review the preview before selecting Publish. The layout you choose also determines which image options are available.

Add a Trip Advisor image

A Trip Advisor image can show your rating or badge in the header. Upload an image that represents your Trip Advisor rating or badge.

This option is only available when Header Layout 2 is selected.

Choose an image that travelers can read clearly in the header. After uploading it, check the Customizer preview to make sure it displays at the right size.

Add a contact image

A contact image can help draw attention to your contact information in the header. Upload an image that represents your contact information.

This option is only available for Header Layouts 2, 3, 4, and 6.

For example, you could use an image of a phone, a support team member, or another image that matches the way travelers contact your business.

Check your header if an option is missing

If an option does not appear, confirm that Travel Monster Pro is active and has a valid license. Then check that you selected a header layout that supports the option.
