How to Upgrade the Purchased Plan
Learn how to upgrade your WP Travel Engine plan from your account dashboard and how pro-rata pricing applies to the upgrade cost.
How upgrade pricing works
When you upgrade your WP Travel Engine plan, you do not pay the full price of the new plan again. You only pay the difference for the time left in your current billing cycle.
This is called pro-rata pricing. It means the system works out the remaining value of your current plan and applies that amount toward the upgrade.
For example, if you run trekking tours and move to a higher plan halfway through your current term, you pay only for the extra cost for the remaining months. You do not start over and pay the full new plan price.
You can upgrade from your account dashboard. You do not need to contact support to make the change.
Now that you know how the price is worked out, you can upgrade your plan from your account.
Upgrade your plan
What you'll need before you start: your WP Travel Engine account username and password.
Log in to your account
Start here so you can see the plan connected to your purchase.
Go to My Account and log in using the username and password sent to you when you purchased your plan.
Once you are signed in, you are in your account dashboard. This is the main screen where you manage your plan and account details.
Find the upgrade option
This shows you which plans you can move to from your current plan.
Once you are logged in, your dashboard shows the available upgrade options for your current plan.
If you are not sure what you are looking at, stay on the main account screen and look for the plan upgrade area in your dashboard.
Select and confirm your new plan
This is where the new price is shown before you complete the change.
Choose the plan you want to upgrade to and confirm the change. The pro-rata cost is calculated and applied automatically.
After you confirm, your account should reflect the new plan. At that point, your upgrade is complete.
