Waitlist
Let travelers join a waitlist when trips sell out and notify them automatically when seats become available for booking.
Keep collecting interest after trips sell out
Waitlist lets travelers join a list when a trip is fully booked, so you can keep collecting interest and convert it into bookings when seats become available.
What is Waitlist?
Waitlist is a premium add-on for WP Travel Engine that captures traveler details after a trip reaches capacity. When a seat opens because of a cancellation, increased capacity, or a new departure date, you can notify interested travelers and give them a chance to book.
Waitlist requires the Fixed Departure Dates add-on, or FSD, because it works with scheduled trip departures and their seat availability. It works well for high-demand trips, limited-capacity departures, and seasonal tours where travelers may still want to book after availability runs out.
You can show the waitlist only when a trip is fully booked, or display it from the start to collect interest before bookings open. You need WP Travel Engine v6.5.0 or later, the FSD add-on installed and activated, the Waitlist add-on, and at least one trip added to your site.
