To add tax to each trip, you can easily configure the settings through your dashboard. Navigate to Dashboard > WP Travel Engine > Settings > Payments > Tax Settings.
Once you’re in the Tax Settings section, enable the Apply Tax toggle to activate the tax feature. After enabling it, you can specify the tax value you want to apply. This value will automatically be added to the total cost of each trip.
After enabling the tax settings, you’ll need to configure the following options:
- Custom Label: Customize the tax label to suit your preference. `%s` will be replaced with percentage number and `%%` wil be replaced with `%`.
- Trip Prices: Decide how the tax should be applied to trip prices.
- Inclusive of Tax: Includes the tax in the total trip price displayed to users.
- Exclusive of Tax: Displays the trip price without tax, with the tax amount added separately at checkout.
- Tax Percentage: Specify the tax percentage you want to apply to each trip.
