Enter the license key received during the purchase of the addon to the License field for <strong>Currency Converter<\/strong>. The activation message will be shown after successful activation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After successful activation, Currency Converter addon can be updated from the plugins page normally, whenever a new update is released.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How does it work?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Few of the basic settings and required fields are enabled\/added automatically when the add on is activated. So, you can simply enable the addon and enable either of the \u201cFloating Currency Converter\u201d or \u201cCurrency Converter Before Booking Calendar\u201d setting. You can also use the shortcode [ wte_currency_converter ] or add the widget for the currency converter.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-floating.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1363\" height=\"586\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-floating.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-floating.png 1363w, https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-floating-300x129.png 300w, https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-floating-1024x440.png 1024w, https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-floating-768x330.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1363px) 100vw, 1363px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All other configuration are controlled through the setting on the plugin dashboard which is described in detail as below:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Settings page<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-backend.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1134\" height=\"1536\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-backend.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-backend.png 1134w, https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-backend-221x300.png 221w, https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-backend-756x1024.png 756w, https:\/\/docs.wptravelengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-travel-engine-urrency-converter-backend-768x1040.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1134px) 100vw, 1134px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you enable this addon, the global settings tab will be displayed in <\/span><b>Admin Dashboard &gt; Trips &gt; Settings &gt; Currency Converter. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will be able to configure the various settings as required to modify the behavior of the addon.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enable Currency Converter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From this setting, you can either enable or disable the add on without having to actually disable the plugin to temporarily stop the plugin feature.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enable Sticky Currency Switcher<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This setting, when enabled, will add the floating currency converter on the right midsection of the site, through which the user can convert the price for the trip.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Show Currency Converter Before Booking Calendar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This setting, when enabled, you can display a currency converter dropdown before the booking calendar on the trip page.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Currency Converter Title<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A title that will be displayed right above the currency converter select field.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>API Key<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get a Free<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/free.currencyconverterapi.com\/free-api-key\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> API Key<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.currencyconverterapi.com\/pricing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Premium API Key<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to currency converter API for pulling the currency rates and converting it when currency is switched.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Geo Locate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Geolocate if enabled will pull the user location and display the currency to that location by default.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Auto-update rate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check this option to enable auto rate updates.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Add Currency<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can add the supported currency from this section. This section is the repeater field where you can simply add the row and select the currency type, which when saved, will automatically generate the currency current rate.
